Savory protein bars

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup unflavored whey protein powder
  • 1 cup cooked and cooled quinoa
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond/soy/ oat milk
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp salted almonds (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp salted pistachio (chopped)
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Grease a baking pan and keep aside.
  • Churn oats in a food processor until it turns into fine flour. Transfer into a large bowl.
  • Add protein powder, quinoa, salt, pepper, chia seeds, chopped almonds and pistachios, milk and blend well.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 20 – 30 minutes.
  • Transfer to a plate and let it cool. Cut into bite sized bars and enjoy!

  • 2 eggs

Method

  • Process rolled oats in a blender until you get a fine powder and transfer it to a bowl.
  • To the bowl, add 2 eggs, salt, protein powder, and seasoning (optional). Mix well until you get a smooth batter.
  • Cook on medium flame on a non-stick pan until it turns golden brown on both sides!

Method

  • Add the other ingredients – honey, peanut butter, salt, and paprika powder and mix well to form a sticky batter. If you think the batter is too thick, add a few drops of milk.
