Remember I-960: Hold Your Legislators Accountable
Posted by Brett Davis - January 22, 2010Lost in all the hoopla over Scott Brown’s upset victory over Martha Coakley in Massachusetts to fill the seat held by the late Ted Kennedy, as well as high-profile in-state bills on furloughs and abolishing the death penalty, is the fact that Washington state lawmakers are poised to suspend or modify I-960. Of course, it’s a prelude to a planned tax hike.
You can check the take of your senators and representatives on I-960 here. Are they in favor of I-960’s two main provisions, or are they against them, or some combination of the two? Let us know what they say. We update the list daily (Monday through Friday).
