It was a special day for those of us who value the constitution. One old soldier enjoyed hearing and meeting a much more famous old soldier. I t's a 'given' that James McEachin can give a relevant speech but I had big eyes for those thee oakleaf clusters on that battle ribbon quite aside from the silver star ! Thank you Glenn Edward , Staff Sgt McEachin and Evergreen...now what else can we do ? PS I think we even changed the minds of the Safeco field staff who maybe thought they were going to see something else.

Ross, You can stream Glenn online on 760 KFMB San Diego from 9 am to Noon.... or, if you want another time you can google "Glenn Beck Radio Schedule" and find it at another time on over 400 channels. I live in the LA area and that's how I listen to him. That said, I would have loved to been up to Washington this past weekend and Washington, DC on the 12th.

Was Glenn Beck really born in America?

It was a wonderful family event... very patriotic and positive. Glenn was flawless in his encouragement and energy to carry forward in the 'Refounding of America' - holding to the foundational priciples and values of our God-given FREEDOM that has historically defined America.

Sadly, we are faced with a President who puts more personal energy into securing the Summer Olympics in his home state than meeting the needs of our fighting men and women who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. WOW - sure not the 'CHANGE' I was expecting! (What happened to the promise 'I'll start to bring the troops home 60 days after taking office"?)

Beck has asked the questions that NEED to be addressed. I doubt we are going to like the answers, but at least he's asking - questioning with boldness - to seek needed information for the path we are on for the future in America and globally.

America is in peril. Republicans and Democrats alike are guilty of ignoring our Constitutional foundation - past and present. Beck doesn't pretent to have the answers, but he does a wonderful job of instilling the questions we ALL need answers to as we watch our government grow and bloat at warp-speed.

As a child of the 'Power to the People' movement many years ago, I'm still chanting, but few are listening. Thankfully, Glenn Beck is doing his best to remind our citizens that the power SHOULD remain with the people..... NOT the STATE!

FREEDOM & LIMITED government go hand in hand. Our ballooning government is tightening their grip as we watch our freedoms die...squeezing the life, liberty, and ability to pursue happiness out of our citizenry. Yes, it's time to stand UP for America, and God bless Glenn Beck for reminding us we still CAN!

The question is "What are we 'transforming' into... and WHY?" There aren't really all that many choices.

Glenn Beck is reminding American's to read the Constitution so we will know what we are leaving behind should we continue to blindly allow our elected officials to make our choices FOR us.
Bravo, Beck - for helping to open the eyes of latent patriots who are the well-rested 'GIANT' who was asleep far too long.

It's all about truth. It is our duty to question. To disagree is NOT racism. FREEDOM is in our American DNA!

Thank the Lord - what a wonderful encouragement that the people are standing up to be counted - even in liberal Washington. Thank you Glen - you are leading a remnant that is surely growing in God's own time.

You *Were* There said on Sep 29 2009 at 12:39pm
Excellent! Way over than 7 thousand attended, cheered, clapped, learned. Got the book signed, shook his hand, beaming smile, sparkling eyes, genuine, true-blue. Read his verses on capitalism while in line, which are found on p.27 in his new book. On the page just before it, are verses about socialism written @ 1906 which ends with an invite to the reader to become a socialist. Beck puts that poem into perspective *straight-up* with his own poem, complete with the results that are realized through liberty. Nicely done. He covers political science the way you've never seen it before. Brilliant presentation.

Stunning, Moving Presentation...........was given by James McEachin. Television star and Veteran. As he walked to the podium, he spoke. Awesome respect was shown to him by the entire crowd. Nobody sat down after the standing ovation which greeted his entry, Nobody. Everyone stood as he spoke about our great nation and the brave soldiers who have retained our country's freedoms............... Everybody stood.....................Everybody.

The Evergreen Freedom Foundation, who sponsored this event gave two awards that are equivalent to Purple Hearts, to two veterans It was impressive. It touched our hearts......... McEachin spoke with deliberation, as he slowly walked in uniform with a cane. I guess that crowd standing, is a glimpse of what America used to be like, when honor and respect was shown to the elderly and to veterans.... and I guess, in some crowds, is still shown today.

[NEVER FORGET] September 27, 2009 at 5:42 am [Loved to had been there!]
You *Were* There.........You were, and everyone in this country friend and foe alike. The marvel of this event was the freedom each and every one of us in this country enjoy and are duty-bound to defend ...... You were a part of this too.

I watch Glenn every day to find out what's really happening to our Republic. Living in a mostly Conservative enclave here in liberal Oregon it's a relief to find so many thousands here in the Northwest that believe as I ( and Glenn Beck) do, that our Republic is being stolen from under us.
